Joseph Van Vicker, an award-winning actor, has denied reports that he died in a horrific accident.
Mr. Vicker claims he is fine, alive, and has not been in an accident.
He took to Instagram to clear the air, posting a video of the alleged death.
The video was a slideshow of Mr. Vicker’s photographs, including one of a saloon car with a bumper that had been run over and mangled beyond repair.
A somber tune that sounded more like a dirge played in the background of the video, with the inscription “we will miss your smile” written on it.
“Normally, I would ignore yet another ‘death video’ of me made by insensitive people; however, this one is causing sensational circulation, hence my post.”
“I am well by HIS GRACE. I have not been involved in an accident, and neither am I dead. Perish the thought,” he wrote.
The actor stated that he would have ignored it, but due to the fear and panic it has caused, he has decided to speak about it.
He stated that anyone who comes across the video is likely to be traumatized and that social media is an excellent tool that must be used wisely.
Van Vicker wrote;
“I would habitually overlook yet another ‘death video’ of me made by insensitive people; however, this particular one is making sensational circulation hence my post.
I am well by HIS GRACE. I have not been involved in any accident, neither am I dead. Perish the thought.
There has to be a way to disallow such lunacies, faux news, sensationalism and or impassivity via social media.
Millions of people around the globe experience some form of trauma whilst watching these videos.

Many fans and followers who saw the post have condemned the content creator while praying for his safety.
Though it is unclear who is behind these videos, they come just a few days after a similar one about actor and politician John Dumelo went viral.
