The robber who tried to get through the window before jumping over the wall got caught when his waist could go through the narrow window.
The young man was seen crying in the video, which quickly went viral, as he implored people to come to assist him to get down from the building.
The incident occurred in Pretoria, South Africa, where theft, burglary, and armed robbery are common, and many people came to the spot to observe for themselves the thief’s misery.
