Actress Beverly Afaglo is in tears after a fire devastated her home late at night, destroying everything she has.
The actress voiced her dissatisfaction with the fire department in a series of videos posted to her Instagram page, blaming them for all she lost.
Beverly Afaglo said she lost everything, including her passport, clothes, jewelry, wigs, and other valuables because the fire department failed to put out the fire quickly enough.
She claimed the fire department arrived on time, but just stood there letting her house burn to the ground because they were unprepared.
Beverly went on to say that they couldn’t get inside the house to put out the fire for nearly 40 minutes due of the thick smoke, which made her wonder why they didn’t have any smoke protection.
Another crew arrived, however they lacked additional basic firefighting equipment that may have assisted in the timely extinguishment of the fire.
Take a look at her story below.
“The fire service got in on time but over 40mins they couldnt go inside because of the heavy smoke (I was wondering why they don’t have protective gears for smoke gosh) they stood there deliberating and another came and that was the worse, they had to use a generator but it couldn’t start which also took awhile, then another came which went thru a nieghbours house to the back of the house and started putting off the fire but it was too late My mum, the kids nanny, the kids and I are all left with nothing . This country let’s stop doing partisan politics and set our priorities right and stop the misplaced priorities. Ghana hmmmmmm”
