Prophet Kennedy Afreh, a former junior pastor of Rev Obofour, has stated that pastors squander offerings and tithes in church.
Kennedy Afreh made these statements while chatting to Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM.
According to him, when churches collect offerings and tithes, the money is not given to God; rather, it is given to pastors.
He continued, “They utilize the money from offerings and tithes to build houses and pay for other church expenses.”
He was responding to a query from the host regarding Osofo Nkuto’s statement that he does not pay his junior pastors and church workers because he believes God will repay them.
According to him, it is improper for a pastor to refuse to pay his employees and assistant pastors.
Pronouncing God’s blessings on them for their assistance to the church, he continues, is insufficient; they should occasionally offer them something in cash to show their appreciation.
