In a recent interview, Ghanaian skit-maker, SDK Dele, shared his insights on the challenging task of making money through social media.
According to the comedian, while there is a considerable amount of money to be made on social media platforms, it is not as straightforward as it may seem.
During a conversation with Amansan Krakye, Dele expressed the difficulties one faces when attempting to monetize content online.
He emphasized the importance of consistency and hard work in order to maximize potential earnings. Dele stated, “It’s very hard using social media to make money, but if someone wants to succeed in this field, it ultimately depends on how consistently and vigorously you promote your content.”
The comedian highlighted the need for individuals to continuously push their content and engage with their audience in order to establish a profitable presence on social media platforms. Dele’s remarks shed light on the fact that making money through social media is a challenging endeavor that requires dedication and perseverance.
“That will determine whether you will be able to make money on social media or not or maybe you will be doing just your normal thing.
“So it depends on what you want to do on social media in order to attract the kinds of customers for yourself but it all depends on you,” he added on Property FM in Cape Coast.
“Some people can go on social media but what they’re doing is not attracting anybody and others will also do the same and attract companies to do influential work for them so it all depends on you.
“It’s not just straightforward it’s somehow mixed up but all along there’s so much money in it if you are able to do it well you can make money on social media,”
