“The youth in Ghana wants me to be president”- Kennedy Agyapong

Kennedy Agyapong, a member of parliament for the Assin Central Constituency, has asked members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to put the future of Ghana’s young people ahead of their own interests.

The flagbearer candidate who wants to lead the NPP to victory in the general elections of 2024 says that the party must take the interests of the youth seriously since most of them support his bid.

In an interview with MAK TV in Kumasi, the outspoken MP and businessman begged party members to vote for him as the best candidate in the 2024 elections if they want to help the NPP get past the current economic problems.

“If NPP wants to win in 2024, then the delegates must think about the youth because a survey conducted suggests that about 88 percent of the youth want me to be President, so that should be a message to the polling station executives and all the delegates.” He said.

Despite recent progress, many think that Kennedy Agyapong’s career could be destroyed by John Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten or Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

But in his interview, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong stressed that he is very sure he will be the NPP’s candidate before the general elections in 2024.
