“The fire didn’t kill my son, the doctors did”: Mother of burnt AAMUSTED students speaks – VIDEO
Remember how we reported on an AAMUSTED student who died of fire burns after tertiary campus traditions went bad on his side one fateful night?
Prosper Owusu was a level 300 Mathematics student at AAMUSTED who was widely regarded as the school’s chief priest during traditional tertiary rituals.
Arrested, as he was popularly known, died one night when his traditional smock garb caught fire and burned him, resulting in his death, as recounted, but subsequent chats with his parents suggest otherwise.
According to exclusive interviews with the mother, she claims that her child did not die in the fire.
According to the deceased’s mother, her son was injected the night before his death the next day, which resulted in his death.
She claims her son was speaking gibberish, so she sought answers from the on-duty doctor, who informed her that it is one of the signs of fire burns. The doctor then proceeded to inject him in order to keep him calm, which was the final time he survived.
According to her, she noticed some changes in her son the next day and inquired with a nurse but received no specific reason.
