Family of Tetteh Quarshie threatens to sue Matilda Asare

Matilda Asare, a popular Kumawood actress and NPP supporter, may soon find herself in court if she does not do the right thing since the family of the late Tetteh Quarshie plans to sue her.

According to our sources, the actress is preparing to release a new film titled Tetteh Quarshie, which will center on the guy who brought cocoa to Ghana.

It went on to say that, despite the fact that the film would convey the narrative of this great man, his family is upset since the actress did not consult them first before shooting the film or using his name as the title.

According to reports, the family has asked the actress to perform due diligence or face them in court over the film.

Matilda Asare, the Executive Producer of Zion Train Productions, is preparing to present ‘Heroes of Africa,’ a play that takes Ghanaians and people from the diaspora through Ghana’s history and heritage. It is based on the life of the late Tetteh Quarshie, a legendary hero and legend.

The video will be exhibited at the Silverbird Cinema on February 18th as part of the national chocolate day celebrations, as well as the under bridge on February 13th.

Tetteh Quarshie was a Ghanaian agriculturalist prior to independence who was directly responsible for introducing cocoa plantations to Ghana, which is today one of the country’s main export crops.
