Allison Obiajunwa, an Abia electrician, is said to have died suddenly after being electrocuted.
Allison Obiajunwa’s family claims that their son died only days before his wife’s burial. The family has expressed astonishment at their son’s unexpected death.
According to reports, the electrician had just lost his wife and was planning to bury her a few days before his death.
However, he was electrocuted while attempting to connect and alter a transformer cable in the state’s Obingwa LGA.
According to a source at WithingNigeria, “The worst of it all is that his dead wife is still in the morgue, waiting to be buried in few days time. This is double tragedy or the family. We got to know that the electrician didn’t wear safety kits when the tragic incident happened. I don’t know whether to blame the company or the dead man for this criminal negligence”.
