Nana Adwoa Awindor, a TV personality and the mother of Ghanaian songstress Efya, has pleaded with Ghanaians to stop spreading false stories about her daughter because it is harming her brand.
According to the former Greetings from Abroad host, her daughter Efya has lost a number of endorsement deals as a result of the numerous negative stories about her that have surfaced online.
She explained that she has always advised her daughter to disregard such stories on social media about her whenever they appear because she believes they lose their relevance quickly.
“I know my daughter, and I tell her not to take it in but to pray about it because it will die off.” The stories break her because they occur when you are working on something to push her, and these events occur.
This is why I was saying that we should be cautious about what we do and say because you never know what the consequences will be.
“There was a time when we were working on a large project and such news broke.” If you are an investor looking to invest in a person and hear such things, whether true or not, you may want to take a step back to check it,” she said.
Nana Adwoa Awindor stated that regardless of what others say about her daughter, she is fully supporting her as any mother would.
She went on to say that she was aware of the negativity associated with people in the music industry, but she still went out of her way to support her despite this.
“I feel bad about it as a mother, but I know God has a better place for her.” Perhaps these are propellers because the news affects us, but as I previously stated, the better part of us is yet to come, not what has passed. “I don’t think so,” Mrs. Awindor added.
She concluded that she would still support Efya if she chose to pursue another career.
