Run for your life if your marriage will k!ll you – Counsellor Charlotte Oduro Advises
Mrs. Charlotte Oduro, a marital counselor, believes that while the Bible prohibits divorce, one should not stay in a marriage that would eventually terminate one’s life.
She noted on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM’s Weekend Morning show that we live to marry but do not die to marry, so if your life is in danger, you should quit the marriage.
”Marriage is important, but your life is also valuable, so if your life is at risk, you should take that bold decision and separate yourself from the marriage.” People will talk, but that is not the most important thing. If your life is at risk, please take that decision and separate yourself from the marriage.”
“The bible has advised Christians against divorce, but if your life is at risk, be wise,” she told host Nhyiraba Asirifi. Separate yourself and leave the rest to God. Allow your partner to decide whether or not to divorce. But don’t jeopardize your life. It is valuable, and you must value and cherish it”.
