“Stonebwoy should be arrested for promoting another scam called Sidicoin”- Menzgold Customers petition Police
After promoting the so-called crypto investment branded SidiCoinNFT, the Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold (CACM) is demanding for Stonewbwoy’s arrest and subsequent punishment.
SidiCoinNFT is an unauthorized financial enterprise that has been exposed as a fraud, according to the Aggrieved Customers.
CACM revealed in a news release that this unauthorized scheme is constructed similarly to Menzgold.
“Their legal terms, purity of gold of the coin being offered, fixed percentages of dividend one is assured, and language of their terms and conditions cleverly tells you that this business is a Nam1 made scam,” the group stated.
“we are, therefore, calling on the relevant security agencies and state authorities to investigate. arrest, and prosecute all those behind this sidicoinNFT and its brand ambassador Stonebwoy without delay.”
The organization also wants any national or business awards that the musician has received in the years after his posts promoting Sidicoin to be revoked.
This comes just a week after Stonebwoy tweeted about the new business, informing his supporters that times are changing and that joining SidiCoinNFT will assist every hardworking individual gain money.
However, shortly after his post, he and media personality Bridget Otoo got into a furious argument.
After Stonebwoy introduced a non-fungible token (NFT), SidiCoinNFT, Ms Otoo warned the former against publicly endorsing investment transactions.
She claimed that the dancehall musician making a move against the backdrop of his ambassadorial position in the Menzgold affair would be inappropriate.
Stonebwoy was uninterested and said,
“I think it’s very BIASED and PREJUDICED to pin the loss of lives and properties on ambassadors WHO in NO WAY RAN the said company.”
“I know people who have lost monies and others who gained, and I have personally lost very close relatives too.”
Meanwhile, the dissatisfied customers stated in their statement that they had not forgotten Stonebowy’s part in marketing Menzgold to his millions of fans.
They went on to say that “he and others duped their followers into investing in Menzgold, resulting in the deaths of at least 179 people and a slew of others suffering from various ailments.”
Stonebwoy’s acts and the influence he has on people should not be taken lightly, according to CACM, because of his massive following across social media platforms including as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
“In other jurisdictions and given the events with what has happened to Menzgold victims, Stonebwoy, if properly pricked by his conscience, and if they have any regrets, would have been pricked to organise concerts or shows and or set up funds to assist victims of MenzGold since he and his colleague ambassadorial roles and influence in Menzgold have resulted in a national disaster,” they said.
The organization also warned its members and any harmed clients to avoid anything stonebwoy endorses in regards to finances.
