Some concerned Christians in Ghana are urging the Christian Council to take action against certain individuals who claim to be men and women of God but are tarnishing the reputation of Christianity.
Evangelist Mama Pat, also known as Nana Agradaa, has recently been engaged in a war of words with Rev. Owusu Bempah.
This dispute has also involved other personalities such as Rev. Obofour, Diamond Appiah, Ayisha Modi, and Ciara Obofour. These individuals have resorted to insulting each other on their social media platforms while simultaneously preaching the gospel.
It is worth noting that Nana Agradaa was previously a fetish priestess before she became an evangelist, as revealed by Rev. Owusu Bempah. Although the reason behind Rev. Owusu Bempah’s decision to sue Nana Agradaa remains unclear, he announced this course of action during a church service on July 30, 2023, after consulting with his family and church leaders.
