Social media users have urged Nigerian superstar Naira Marley to sign Shatta Wale and help him relaunch his career after he announced he was close to signing Lasmid.
Marley revealed on a trip to Ghana that he wanted to recruit ‘Friday Night’ hitmaker Lasmid to his Marlians label before realizing he already had one.
The news has shocked Ghanaians, especially in light of the death of Mohbad, a former Marlians player.
Naira Marley and his men allegedly harassed and attacked Mohbad several times after he left the label.
As a result, Ghanaians are labeling Lasmid’s refusal to join the Marlians an escape.
Some, though, are taking a lighter approach, with one netizen proposing Shatta Wale to Marley.
