“Shatta Wale’s !nsults to me helped me grow my waakye business”- Reggie Rockstone

Shatta Wale’s attacks on me aided the blow-up of my Waakye business, according to Reggie Rockstone.

Reggie Rockstone, the Hiplife Grandpapa, has revealed that his Waakye business went down when Dancehall rapper Shatta Wale assaulted him on social media.

Shatta Wale took multiple jabs at Reggie Rockstone on social media over a year ago. He claimed that he didn’t understand why Reggie Rockstone was living at his father’s house and peddling Waakye, despite his musical achievements.

Reggie Rockstone told Kingdom FM that Shatta Wale’s statements about his Waakye company helped him get more clients because people didn’t realize he was selling Waakye at first.

“I won’t lie to you, but God works in weird ways; he mentioned my waakye, and then my waakye just exploded up. Many people are unaware that I sell waakye, despite the fact that I have been doing it for almost ten years. It provided me with a fresh audience at the time he said it.

“I understood the game,” he explained, “so when he mentioned it, I started talking about my waakye and then I unleashed the jar waakye, which caught fire.”

Reggie Rockstone responded, “Shatta Wale is my guy, he hasn’t been there since then but I’m sure he sends his crew to come and buy for him,” when asked if he had thanked Shatta Wale for “promoting” his waakye company.
