What would the Vodafone Music Awards night be without the red carpet? It is safe to say we are more excited about the red carpet misses and hits than the awards or the show itself.
The Vodafone Ghana Music Award, now in its 22nd year, took place last night. The country’s biggest awards show. The event was hosted at the Accra International Conference Center, and all of the big names in the entertainment world showed up to walk on the red carpet and flaunt their fashion flair.
After looking at the night’s worst dressed celebrities, it is only fitting that we look at those who wowed us and many of the fans.
Okyeame Kwame, as usual, went all out for the made-in-Ghana appearance, appearing royal, gorgeous, and dashing in his Ghanaian regalia. When it comes to Ghana, Kwame is good at everything, so we were not surprised when he showed up like this. By the way, we like what we are witnessing.
Eno Barony arrived in full force—if you were expecting her to go down the street with chains and boots, we are sorry to disappoint you, but she arrived as the woman you never imagined she could be. The Kumasi-based artist flaunted her breasts in a flowing crimson gown with small pearls on her chest. If you are wondering who ironed this Cinderella gown, you can be sure we are wondering the same thing.
Unlike Kuami Eugene, KiDi is trendy. He may not be the most attractive man in the room, but he understands how to get people’s attention; after all, he is Galdemsugar. You should see what he wore for yourself, and we should mention that whoever suggested he color his hair did him a huge favor; he looked much better in it.
Hajia, a lovely young lady, took advantage of the opportunity to shine—this was her first time on the red carpet after deciding to pursue a career in music. Hajia is so beautiful that we are sure she would look stunning even in rags and tatters. She walked the red carpet in a two-piece navy blue gown, all modest on her hips, before returning home to sing her praises.Anyway, a belated happy birthday to her.
