At least 13 wedding guests, including a baby, have died in India after they fell into a well during a wedding ceremony.
Officials say that the victims were sitting on a metal slab on the well when it gave way under their weight and fell in a village in Uttar Pradesh yesterday.
The people who died were all women.
Kushinagar District Magistrate S Rajalingam told reporters that victims ranged in age from 35 to as young as one, according to Mint, a news source in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
PM Narendra Modi shared his heartbreak over the terrible deaths and made a statement on Twitter.
