Gospel singer Joe Mettle and his wife Selassie continue to live their dream couple life as they celebrate their daughter’s christening.
Despite all of the hostility and critics, this pair is growing from strength to strength.
They married in August 2020 and announced the birth of their daughter in October 2021 on social media.
Previously, multiple rumors suggested that the gospel singer, who claimed to have been a virgin prior to marriage, was having major marital problems.
Selassie was said to be fed up with her marriage and had already left her marital house.
The pair remained silent on the reports, but eventually revealed that they were still together and had given birth to a daughter.
Joe Mettle announced his wife’s pregnancy on social media on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021.
“I just want to take this time to express how grateful I am to God for the life of this amazing woman in my life @serlcy_d. I love you so much babe and thank God for you.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” he said
Since then, they have taken their sweet time to get the child christened.
Her naming ceremony has now been held, three months after her birth.
Gospel singer Cwesi Oteng, who was present at the event, shared a video on social media.
”Congratulations Mr & Mrs @joemettle @serlcy_d on the christening of your beautiful & lovely baby girl.” he wrote.
