Funny Face, a Ghanaian comic actor, has sadly lost his brother.
Mr. Clement Boateng, Funny Face’s brother, died recently, and he took to Instagram to share the sad news.
Clement Boateng, also known as Awustse 1, died at the age of 39.
The shocking news was revealed by Funny Face, the real name Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, on his Instagram page.
He captioned a photo of his brother, “GYE NYAME.” CLEMENT BOATENG, REST IN PEACE…… you did your best. your words will be a guide to me brother.. until we meet again!! Brother, continue to rest in the bosom of the LORD.”
This news comes at a particularly difficult time for the embattled comic actor.
In the last year, Funny Face has faced a number of personal challenges, most notably those relating to his relationships and mental health.
He had to spend a significant amount of time in psychiatric care and has only recently returned to his usual jovial self online.
