In a tragic incident report, it has been alleged that the daughter of the Bekwai Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon Kwaku Kyei Baffour, has been shot dead by unidentified assailants.
The victim, identified as Akua Serwaa, believed to be in her 30s, was attacked by gunmen in the town of Bebu near Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The shocking incident occurred on Thursday, August 3, 203, at approximately 8 pm. The police have confirmed the incident and assured that investigations are underway to determine the motive behind the attack and bring the culprits to justice.
The body of the deceased has been transferred to the Bekwai Municipal Hospital morgue for further examination. The grieving family has yet to release a public statement regarding this tragic event.
