Sad: 52-Year Old woman Collapse and Die at a spot at US Airport after returning from Ghana
Mrs. Lena Palma Ahoto, a 52-year old woman had just returned from a 10-day vacation trip to Ghana with her daughter when she collapsed at the airport.
According to family members, she showed no signs of illness when she flew from Ghana to her home base in the United States on Ethiopian Airlines, where she transited in Addis Abeba before taking off for her final destination.
Mrs. Lena Palma Ahoto is said to have been fine on her flight until she arrived at Dulles International Airport and complained about her inability to breathe.
She passed out while going through immigration with her daughter by her side, prompting airport health personnel to call for emergency services.
A deceased’s brother, only identified as Sammy, who was at the airport to pick her up, was called in only to find his sister on life support while doctors worked around the clock to resuscitate her.
She was then rushed to a hospital, where she died shortly after being admitted.
Mrs. Lena Palma Ahoto’s death has been commemorated for one week at Tema Community 11 Rama Down Lane 4 in Ghana, with funeral arrangements in the United States to be announced later.
Her family in Ghana confirmed her untimely death, indicating that her death came as a surprise.
