The year’s biggest surprise comes from a mineral water plant that has created sachet water, also known as “clean water” in Ghana, with Messi branding.
The mineral water was named after Argentine footballer Lionel Messi, and it featured PSG graphics as well as an image of Messi himself.
It could have been said that it was made in Ghana, but it wasn’t. Because the text on the sachet water is all in French, we can assume it was created in a French-speaking country.
People are manufacturing pure water in Messi’s name to entice clients, which shows how far the Messi brand has progressed.
Despite the poor packaging, with Messi and PSG on the label, it will sell more than the nicest packaged mineral water. The transfer of Messi to PSG inspired a lot of things, but the fact that it’s being utilized on sachet water is something else entirely.
