President Akufo-Addo Doesn’t Have Anything Better To Offer Us – Salinko’s Wife Speaks in New Video
Madame Nancy Owusu Davis, the spouse of comic actor and producer Salinko, has expressed her views on the current administration led by President Nana Akufo Addo in an interview.
The Atonsu Agogo-born businesswoman opened up about her upbringing, professional career, and marriage in a new interview.
On being asked about her thoughts on the performance of the current government, Beatrice Owusu expressed disappointment in President Akufo Addo’s administration.
She said this while bemoaning the high cost of living in the country and while pointing out the poor state of the country’s roads and bridges.
Mrs. Nancy was perplexed as to why land is so expensive to purchase and why it must be paid for multiple times before you can finally own it.
Mrs. Nancy also expressed her displeasure with the way leaders continue to make life difficult for Ghanaians, arguing that citizens should be able to file tax returns.
Compared to the west, she believes that systems in other countries work so well that people can live comfortably, whereas systems work poorly in Ghana and people cannot live comfortably.
She also spoke out against the idea of the president having a private jet at this time. She said in the interview that, there are things the president is supposed to do, and she expressed support for the #FixTheCountry campaign, which is being led by Efia Odo, Yvonne Nelson, and others.
According to her, she voted for Akufo Addo because she admired him, and she chastised him for only taking pride in the Free SHS policy, ignoring the fact that there are other pressing needs of ordinary citizens that must be met.
She also urged him to leave a monumental and tangible legacy before stepping down from the presidency.
