A woman recently gave birth in the open air, just outside a hospital that refused to accept her due to her inability to pay the hospital delivery bill.
This terrible episode is said to have occurred in a well-known Gabonese hospital.
Alain Fabrice Koumba Pambou, a Facebook user, gave the dreadful information.
According to Alain Fabrice Koumba Pambou, who shared the astonishing event on Facebook with images, the hospital sent away the 40-year-old Gabonese woman when she refused to pay the hospital 10,000 CFA Francs (GH113) for the delivery.
“On Thursday, 7 April 2016 to 21 Trios, incredible but real, this young lady of Gabon, aged 40, gave birth to a kid in the open air on the grass under the watchful eyes of the wise women of the regional hospital of Mellen,” Pambou said in French.
“The young lady’s unwillingness to pay the latter a sum of 10.000 CFA Francs.” Despite the fact that the latter possessed his name map to say that medical personnel is bound by the Hippocratic Oath.
“In view of the facts, these pregnant ladies may be conditioned to pay for having a baby and have their gender torn.”
