Popular Nollywood Actor Osofia set to bury his abandoned 24-year-old daughter who died of cancer
On June 28th, Nollywood legend Nkem Owoh, AKA Osofia lost his second daughter to cancer.
A distressed family member stated that the daughter, Miss Kosiso Nkem Owoh, allegedly begged her father on the phone from her sickbed to fly her abroad for treatment, but he refused until she succumbed to cancer.
Even after she died, it was stated that the veteran actor refused to accept responsibility until the mortuary where the daughter’s corpse was stored gave the family a deadline to come and evacuate the corpse or else it would deteriorate owing to a lack of cash.
An angry family member said this in a viral video that went viral on social media last month.
“Osofia Nkem Owoh’s second daughter died, and he refused to accept responsibility for her death. The morgue where Osofia’s kid is kept has given her until tomorrow to come and take the girl out. Please forward the video to Nkem Owoh Osofia.
“Osofia I’m not attempting to smear your reputation. They refer to you as a legend, but you abandoned your family. Your second daughter died on June 28th, Sallah Day, and you have failed to answer your calls or pay attention to her since then.
“The mortuary has until tomorrow to transport her. You neglected your family, and your daughter died as a result. When we called you, you said you were on set. Nobody has begged or brought money since then. I’m not sure what you did to your spirit to cause you to desert your family.”
It is unknown why Nkem Owoh allegedly abandoned his family, and it is also unknown whether the seasoned actor or other family members will pay for the planned burial service.
