Afia Amankwa Tamakloe, host of the health talk show Nkwa Hia on Adom TV, has been named the “Best Television Talk Show Host of the Year.”
This took place in Accra during the 6th annual West African Traditional and Alternative Medicals Award ceremony.
Following a careful background check, the prize was given in appreciation of her commitment to the delivery of conventional and alternative healthcare in the nation, according to the organizers.
At the occasion, a number of individuals and organizations associated with herbal and alternative medicine received awards.
On Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. on Adom TV, Nkwa Hia, a chat show about health education, educates and sensitizes viewers to healthcare and health-related issues.
