“Police claim my brother was shot and k!lled but we haven’t seen his body yet”- Brother of Cons. Nyame speaks

A sibling of one of the alleged James Town police officers involved in the heist of a bullion van and the murder of another officer has spoken up.

Two police officers who were arrested earlier as part of the continuing inquiry have died.

An exchange of firearms occurred during a raid at Borteyman in Ashaiman to catch more criminals, and two police officers, Constable Reindolph Gyimah Ansah and Corporal Stephen Kwaku Nyame were shot and pronounced dead at the Police Hospital where they were rushed.

Meanwhile, Kwaku Nyame has been hospitalized for days due to a car accident and various illnesses.

He claimed that once his brother was charged as a suspect in the bullion van robbery, the police arrested him and transported him to a police hospital, barring his family members, including his wife, from seeing him.

He went on to say that they didn’t find out about his claimed death until they heard about it from locals and on the radio.

He stated that he believes his brother is alive and well. They haven’t seen his body, he claims.
