Photos of Pablo and other policemen involved in the Bullion van robbery surface online
After the Ghana Police Service released an official statement announcing the arrest of 8 individuals involved in the bullion van heist that cost the life of Constable Emmanuel Osei, a certain police officer with the nickname Pablo has been trending on the internet for the past 24 hours.
Following the Police Department’s official statement, an exclusive WhatsApp audio by two unnamed police officers has gone viral in the local digital sphere.
These police officers can be heard in this tape bemoaning how some of their coworkers have turned into bad nuts, damaging the image of their security agency.
The narrator went on to add that when one of them sensed danger, he ran back to Accra Jamestown for protection, but he was later identified as one of the thieves who attacked the van that day by some locals.
They raised an alert, not realizing he was a cop, and he was arrested. He was taken to the Striking Force Unit and allegedly tortured for two days before admitting his involvement.
According to him, the suspect admitted to shooting Constable Emmanuel Osei in the head after he was identified and his name was revealed.
The face of Pablo and some of the renowned police officers who were engaged in the historic bullion truck robbery can be seen in some of the photographs that have been woven into this audio.
