I Abandoned UK Scholarship to Stay With My Boyfriend But He Married Another Woman – Lady Cries Out
A lovely young Nigerian lady, Amanda Chisom, who goes by the name Amanda, has described how she dropped out of her scholarship program in 2013 to be with her boyfriend.
Amanda revealed that her boyfriend had later dumped her to stay with another girl while narrating the events of the day.
She wrote on her official Facebook page: “You know, in 2013, I received a scholarship at the University of Reading in the United Kingdom,” I completed all of my IETLS requirements.
I chose a man over a scholarship because I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving my boyfriend in Nigeria to study abroad.
However, things turned sour later on. The man, it turned out, had other plans: he dumped her and married another woman.
In the post, she expressed regret for her decision, saying:
“See, now my brain is partially blocked; how do I want to go back to school?” Man, I chose is at his wife’s house eating rice, and I am alone here. If I ever have the opportunity to do it all over again, I will avoid the man with all my strength until I reach the age of 30.”
