People who are Gay do not need confirmation from anyone to practice their activities – Mr. Logic

The Chairman of the Ghana Association of Songwriters, Emmanuel Barnes, also known as Mr. Logic, has joined the ongoing discussion surrounding LGBTQ rights in Ghana.

Expressing his confusion, Mr. Logic questions why members of the LGBTQ community seek validation from the public to express their sexuality.

During an appearance on United Showbiz on UTV, Mr. Logic suggested that the gay community could have carried out their activities in the privacy of their bedrooms without the need for public validation.

“I will blame them, because why are they seeking validation? That is the problem they have. If you prefer the pleasure of a man, why should someone give you a right? You have the right to do what you want with your body. They don’t need validation from anybody to practice their sexual pleasures with anybody. Gay people don’t even know what rights they have,” he stated.

He further argued that heterosexual individuals also engage in anal sex, doing so quietly, thus negating the need for the LGBTQ community to demand validation.

“Practice it in the room, there are bigger men who practice sex through the back of their wives. Women are going through buttocks sex in their rooms, some women even enjoy the pain,” he added.
