People in Sofia’s hometown call her fourth kid, who is just four years old, a pregnant boy due to the boy’s bizarre condition which has left his stomach protruding.
The condition of Ananus, 4, was first noticed right after two days of delivery. Sofia went back to the hospital two days after giving birth because she saw his belly was becoming bigger, she says that’s when it all started.
According to the mother of four, the Doctors transferred her boy to a major hospital because they couldn’t understand what was occurring to him and why his tummy was growing that fast.
Because they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with their kid, the doctor allegedly kept sending them to better hospitals with more resources, and they had to sell their homes to pay for those visits, but their son never healed.
It has been a challenging trip for her and her family because many young people in their community speculate that her son is pregnant – and the stigmatizations it came with can not be overlooked.
The boy could barely sleep and the condition also make it impossible for him to begin school.
