Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1, the CEO of defunct gold dealer Menzgold, has advised consumers to purchase a GHC650 Menzgold Digital Verification Access Card in order to validate their transactions and get reimbursed.
According to a statement released by NAM1, this verification card would allow “customers who believe they have genuine indebtedness claims, to check their transaction status.”
Customers who wish to claim their transactions are asked to upload original-colored soft copies of their transaction supporting papers between the 10th of August 2023, and the 14th of September 2023.
According to the statement, this is essential because “over sixty percent (60%) of the claims they have received have unacceptable infractions that invalidate the claims in question.”
According to the CEO, this will allow the company to conduct due diligence on clients to whom it is owed before making any payments.
The message also issued a warning to clients who did not complete the verification process, stating:
Customers who choose to skip this step run the risk of losing their alleged claims because failing to fulfill their obligation would have waived their right to make a claim.
