After his wife surprised him on his birthday, a Nigerian pastor let out a surprised scream. The cleric had gone to Gateway International Church in Port Harcourt for a ministration, unaware that his wife had made plans to make his special day unforgettable.
She allegedly came to the church’s location without her husband’s knowledge, but in collaboration with the pastor of the worship center where her husband ministered.
A short video posted on Instagram showed the celebrant on his knees at the altar, heads bowed, flanked by the pastors of the church.
While he remained in that position, his wife was quietly led to the altar and stood some meters behind him. He then stood up to accept a packaged gift from his host pastor’s wife, and when he turned around, he was astounded to see his wife live at the worship center, on the same altar as him. To the delight of worshippers, the couple shared a warm embrace.
