A Congolese pastor, Zagabe Chiluza, married four women in a colorful wedding in eastern Congo a few months ago.
He married the first wife before marrying the four, claiming that he got the idea of polygamy from the Bible, citing Jacob’s four wives as an example. “I’m glad to have five wives,” Pastor Zagabe said during his wedding.
The arrogant man of God declared that men in his church marry only virgins, encouraging others to practice polygamy.
According to AfriMax English, the man of the cloth always shares Holy Book scriptures to prove polygamy is not a sin.
“I have one wife already and today I’m going to marry these four. They will join the first wife,” he said on his wedding day.
He claimed that the concept of marrying more wives came from the Bible.
“Jacob had many wives Leah and Rachel, then Bilha and Zilpa…four wives for one man,” he said.
Some members of Zagabe’s church agreed with him that polygamy is sanctioned by the Bible.
A year after sharing Zagabe’s wedding with his wives at their home, AfriMax paid a visit to the man of God, and they were happily married.
