Old video of one of the police armed robbers receiving an award for best drill student at the police academy surfaces
During his time at Police Training School, one of the cops engaged in the Bullion Van robbery got an honor.
In a old video, Corporal Stephen Kwaku Nyame, a part of the Bullion Van Robbery group, is shown getting an award.
The cop is shown on film mounting the stage to accept an award at the Police Training School.
At the training school, he was given an award for the best drill.
He was completely innocent, unaware that after graduating from police academy, he would utilize the abilities he had learned to terrorize society rather than defend it as he had been instructed to do.
Corporal Nyame is one of eight police officers who had robbed Bullion Vans in Accra with the help of other armed thieves.
The Ghana Police Service has confirmed that he and his robbery partner, Constable Reindorf Gyimah Ansah, have died.
According to the Ghana Police Service, they were killed in a shootout while leading the investigative team to their accomplices’ hideout.
