“Thank You Ghana”- Christian Atsu’s Wife Sends Ghanaians A Heartfelt Message After Going Back To The UK.
Claire Marie, the late Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu Twasam’s wife, has left an emotional message after returning to her homeland following her late husband’s funeral.
Her spouse, who was a key member of the Blackstars during his playing days, died in the Turkey-Syria earthquake that happened on February 6, 2023.
On the 18th of February, 2023, Atsu’s representative, Nana Sekyere, announced to the general public that he was found dead under the rubble of his flat.
The state held Atsu’s burial at the state house on March 17, 2023, and he was buried in his hometown of Ada.
Claire, Atsu’s wife, went to the burial site with her children to bid farewell to her late husband. The widow opted to share sorrowful moments from the event on Instagram while writing a thank you letter to Ghanaians for their love and support.
