A Nigerian student, Cyril Kenneth, was arrested by the police in Belfast, UK after being accused of dating minors. The police received evidence of grooming and sexual harassment from multiple children aged between 14 and 15. In text messages to some of the victims, he sent indecent pictures and invited one of them to his house for sex.
Kenneth confessed to the crime and claimed that he contacted the kids because he needed friends as he was new to the country. He has been handed over to the police for further investigation and possible prosecution.
The case of Cyril Kenneth is unfortunately not an isolated incident.
