New Updates: Nigerians Have Been Banned From Applying For Dubai Visas Over Viral Fight in Satwa

Due to the viral battle in Satwa, Dubai has reportedly banned Nigerians from obtaining visas.

The ban was imposed in response to the mayhem caused by certain Nigerian immigrants from Africa in the UAE.

In a video from the event, young men wielding machetes can be seen wreaking havoc in the neighborhood at night.

They destroyed other buildings, chased uninvolved homeowners, shattered the side windows of a car, and generally caused havoc in the otherwise peaceful neighborhood.

Dubai police detained the troublemakers, it was revealed days after the video went viral.

The Dubai administration is said to have gone one step further and slowed the visa application process for Nigerians.

According to unverified sources, Nigerian men under the age of 36 are no longer eligible for visas from the Dubai government.

While reacting from Dubai, Nigerian actress Aremu Afolayan expressed regret that hardworking Nigerians would be impacted by the Dubai government’s decision.

Nigerians, he claims, have a legal right to be in Dubai, and any Nigerians causing problems there are most likely doing so illegally.

In a video, he added,, “Pick up the trouble makers and don’t use that to harm the livelihood of every other Nigerian.”

It would be incorrect, he continued, to blame all Nigerians for the actions of a small number of them, because everyone is an immigrant in other countries.

“They deserve it since they cause trouble and kill each other. Put them in jail or do whatever else to them. However, there are innocent Nigerians who must be fed “Added he.

He also inquired as to what the Nigerian ambassador in Dubai was doing to assist Nigerians affected by the ban.
