New Updates: Ashaiman Soldier, Imoro Was K!lled Over Cracked iPhone 6
Information obtained Online suggests that Imoro Sherrif, a 22-year-old soldier who was slain at Taifa, a neighborhood Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region, died as a result of refusing to give out his iPhone 6.
According to anonymous sources, the two primary suspects are accused of killing the soldier who was connected to the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) band in Sunyani because they wanted to steal his iPhone.
As one of his attackers stabbed him, he was alleged to have fought and tried to battle with the other guy.
As a result, the suspects made off with the iPhone 6, which had been damaged during the battle, and they fled the scene, leaving the young soldier to his destiny in a pool of blood till he died away.
The arrests of the two primary suspects in connection with the horrible crime were made public by the police on the morning of Saturday, March 11, 2023.
They are getting them ready to appear in court.
But, the police have also detained three other suspects in connection with the murder, and these individuals are now supporting the police with their investigations.
The three individuals were people in the municipality who purchased the phone from one another.
The phone is said to have been the main lead in the investigation as it was recovered from a vehicle in the area of the Ashaiman flyover early on Sunday morning.
The suspects are being questioned at the moment at the Police Headquarters in Accra in the presence of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare.
Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has demonstrated a significant amount of interest in the investigation by spending the night in Ashaiman on the same day that the prime suspects were taken into custody.
