Ghanaians are concerned about politicians gaining weight and developing large stomachs overnight. It’s been suggested that it’s because they’ve been “chopping” our money. When they achieve authority, some claim it is God’s blessing on their lives.
We caught a glimpse of Ghana’s Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta, in a new look earlier today. In fact, he has gained so much weight that his tummy has gotten really large in the photo.
As if that wasn’t enough, he also had a dark complexion. This has sparked a flurry of responses, with some claiming he is ill. They believe that gaining that much weight and turning dark overnight raises concerns.
