The serene road leading to the School Junction in Agiringano, East Legon, near the International God’s Way Church, famously known as Bishop Daniel Obinim’s church is now marred by an unfortunate occurrence. It has become a notorious spot for sex workers who operate under the cover of darkness.
This distressing revelation came to light when a concerned resident captured a video as evidence and shared it on social media, appealing for the church management to take immediate action.
In the video, the resident, seated in a vehicle, confronts one of the sex workers and delivers a stern warning to her and her colleagues, demanding that they refrain from conducting their illicit activities near the International God’s Way Church, famously known as Bishop Daniel Obinim’s church. The resident expressed her utter disbelief at the audacity of these individuals, questioning how such immoral practices could take place right in front of a place of worship.
In a firm tone, she urged the sex workers to leave the vicinity immediately, emphasizing that their presence in front of the church was completely unacceptable. The resident reiterated her commitment to exposing their actions by recording videos as evidence, asserting that this reprehensible behavior must come to an end.
She said; “Hurry up and go, come on, get out of this place, and none of you should come here again, nonsense! How can you be doing this in front of the church, in front of Obinim’s church?
In front of Obinim’s church and there’s prostitution? The church must be made aware, that is why I am taking videos of them. This thing has to end.”
This incident has sparked outrage among residents and members of the church community. They firmly believe that such activities should never transpire near a place of worship, and they are demanding that the church be made aware of the situation.
It is hoped that the church management will take prompt action to address this issue and restore the tranquility of the area, ensuring that the road in front of the School Junction becomes a safe and respectable space once again.
