Lasmid, a rising star in the music industry, laid himself up for mockery when he asserted on a radio program that he is currently Ghana’s biggest artist.
“Friday Night,” a song by Lasmid, is currently making waves around the nation. On all digital streaming services, the song has been trending for days and keeps receiving airplay.
Two of America’s largest music distribution companies are reportedly looking to sign the newest star on the scene, Lasmid, according to 3Music Awards CEO Sadiq Abdulai, who also mentioned the matter in a Facebook post.
“When either Empire or Sony ends up signing Lasmid, we will begin to get the whole picture (The two are after him and one of them may just close in on him).”
In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5FM, Lasmid acknowledged that he is currently the biggest music star in the nation.
He stated that he sung the most recent hit song in the nation, which can only make him the largest artist in the country.
Because Lasmid just appeared in the game, many on social media are requesting that he find a location to shift.
Instead than relying on the popularity of only one song to blow his horn, they counseled him to remain modest and work on releasing other hit songs.
