‘Nana Addo was my father’s lawyer’- D-Black rubbishes being NPP supporter
D-Black, a rapper and business mogul, has stated that he is not involved with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), contrary to popular belief, after congratulating Nana Akufo Addo on his victory in the 2020 Presidential elections.
People should not infer meaning into the Black Avenue Muzik boss’s post-election tweet praising the President, according to MzGee on ShowBiz927 on 3FM.
He said that he was not photographed with the President because he was a member of a political party. He cited a few occasions when industry representatives were invited to the President’s residence.
D-black also claimed that when he was a youngster, his father appointed Nana Akufo Addo as his personal lawyer, which is how he became acquainted with him.
“The President was my father’s lawyer when I was growing up as a child. So, I am saying Uncle, well done. How is this throwing my weight behind him?”, he said.
