Naana Donkor Blasts Ghanaian Artists Complaining That Ghanaians Abroad Do Not Attend Their Shows – Video
Naana Donkor Arthur, better known by his stage name NDA, is a Ghanaian content producer who currently resides in the United States. He recently went off on Ghanaian promoters that organize performances in the United States.
After reading a few interviews with Ghanaian artists in the past few weeks in which they complained that Ghanaians living outside of the country do not attend their gigs, Donkor went completely insane on Instagram.
Comments made by Guru NKZ, Fameye, and others all attempted to place blame on Ghanaians living outside of the country for the inability of Ghanaian singers to achieve international success.
The musicians claim that they put up their best effort to perform outside of Ghana, but when they get there, they find that Ghanaians are unwilling to attend their gigs.
In response to Fameye’s assertion, the NDA stated that the problem is not with Ghanaians living outside of the country, but rather with the promoters who organize these performances and do not want to spend money to market them.
According to her, anytime a Ghanaian promoter organizes a show overseas, he spends all of his money on other things, and when it comes time to advertise the show, they expect the influencers who are stationed outside to just support them out of the goodness of their hearts.
The NDA stated that it is a business, and the event organizers need to figure out a way to pay people to advertise their show; otherwise, nothing will change.
