The revelation that a man’s wife is the owner of the house that he and his wife have been renting for the past eleven (11) years has left the man in a state of utter disbelief.
The man invited his wife to meet him in town and confronted her about his discovery in a video that was made available on social media. However, the woman played smart and denied it at first, but later confirmed that it was true.
The man claims that he was working for an oil company when he met and married his wife. However, after a few years, he lost his job and has since been struggling to make a living so that he can take care of his family.
He went on to say that he had been providing her with N800,000 per month, which is equivalent to Ghc11,000. However, when things began to deteriorate, he asked her to lend him money so that he could begin something new. He was aware that she was putting the money away for the future.
However, in her response, he was told by his wife that she was unable to give him any money because she had been conned by some con artists, and as a result, she did not have the financial means to support him in starting another business.
The man stated that he believed the justification that his wife offered him because he had no grounds upon which to cast doubt on her assertion.
They needed to move to a different location so that they could live within their means, and his wife was the one who introduced him to an agent who assisted them in finding a place to live that had a monthly rent payment of N350,000 (Ghc5.1k).
He has been working hard and paying the rent for this location for the past eleven years, and he just found out that the place where they were staying actually belonged to his wife, but that she had hired the services of another man to act as an agent. He has been hustling and paying the rent for this location for the past eleven years.
When her husband confronted her, she denied being the owner of the house, but after learning that he had visited a fetish priest to inquire about his personal situation, she acknowledged being the owner of the property.
He went on to say that the fetish priest had told him that his wife was the owner of the house where they were staying and that if she denied it, he should just leave because something bad was going to happen to her in the next twenty-four hours. He said this as he continued his story.
At this point in the conversation, the wife broke her silence and admitted that she was the one who actually owned the house.
