“My wife cannot be found after i sent her to the bank to redraw 9 billion cedis”- Man files police report
Yaw Sakyi, 37, has reported his wife’s disappearance to the Ashanti Regional Police. The incident occurred, according to him, after he directed her to withdraw 9.5 billion old cedis from his account.
Angel FM shared a police extract to assist the worried man in his search for his wife. For now, there are no traces of the woman nor any information. That means we can’t tell whether she ran away with the money on purpose or was attacked.
The Ghana Police Service also released photos of the missing wife in the hopes that the public will recognize her if they see her. Lucy, the missing wife, was seen wearing what appears to be a wedding gown.
The Ghana Police Service in Ghana’s Ashanti Region is appealing to the public for assistance in locating the woman. We hope that she is found alive.
