In a new video, the mother of the late Mohbad, aka Imole, declares that she is not dead and, as a result, seeks justice.
In a video that has gone viral, Mohbad’s mother breaks down in sobs after his child’s death, claiming that his son’s death was not natural.
She also claimed that throughout his life, Naira Marley and others threatened his late son Mohbad, who passed away at the age of 27. She curses those who were involved in his death and begs Nigerians to help her seek justice.
“I am Mohbad, Promise Oladimeji Emmanuel Ayobami’s mother,” she explained. I’m not dead; I’ve just been quiet because I’m in mourning. My son’s death was not natural; it was the result of someone’s negligence. And they will never know peace again.
All I know is that my son has never felt peace since he met Naira. I called my son one morning, we talked, and he gave me money to go visit the doctor. I called him at the hospital, and he told me he was in trouble. I assured him that I was his mother and that he could tell me the truth.
He then informed me that they were at the studio when he heard about the incident at home, so he went there and they were collected up, and they gave him a drink that has gotten him into trouble ever since. My youngster did so in terror. He was always terrified. He was so terrified that he refused to attend some events because he knew Naira Marley and his boys would be present.
I had never known serenity until my son died. Please, Nigerians, assist me in obtaining justice. My son was never mentally ill. Please, I want justice for my son. No one should speak ill of my son. Please, Nigerians, save me.”
