Gifty Adorye, better known as Empress Gifty, a gospel musician, claims she has never relied on her husband’s wealth to survive since their marriage.
According to the gospel singer, her husband agreed to marry her because she did not appear to be a gold digger.
Many people speculated on social media that the gospel singer chose the politician because of his enormous wealth, but Gifty claims it is a plain falsehood.
Gifty Ardoye met Hopeson at a funeral in 2018, and they married a month later after exchanging contacts and becoming friends, according to her.
She claims that, unlike other women who rely on men’s riches, she works hard to generate her own money, which is what drew her to the wealthy spouse.
She went on to say that her determination to attain her life objectives without relying on the income of another person (her spouse) is what cemented her connection with the prominent politician, Hopeson Adorye.
Gifty went on to say that one of her husband’s favorite qualities in her is her work ethic and that he has given her the freedom and space to be whomever she wants to be.
