“My husband is having an affair with a member of my church’s youth fellowship” – an agitated lady reveals

A married woman has gone public with her marital difficulties, explaining how she learned her husband had been sleeping with his secretary, who is also a member of her church, to her shock.

Her entire post was as follows:

I have been married for nine years to a banker. I have devoted these years of my life being loyal to him, loving him, helping and advising him. I have also given birth to three children for him and raised them in a very good way.

I do not have the right words to express how much I love this man. I even got married to him against the will of my parents. In these nine years of marriage, this man only willingly went out with me during the first two years we got married. After that, he began attending events without me.

When I confront him, he would sometimes say it’s because I am heavily invested in taking care of the kids which is why he decided to go alone. This continued and I even stopped confronting myself. He doesn’t beat me but he cheats on me. I have found numerous evidences for this.

I have also been called by well-meaning friends to inform me of his escapades with his junior colleagues, mostly females. He tips them and often asks them out. He hangs out with them on Sundays while I stay at home slaving for him and running around with the kids.

Now he is cheating on me with his secretary. This is very painful because the lady in question is in the youth fellowship of my church. She holds a reputable position in the youth fellowship and often admonishes people to live right and be kind to people.

It hurts me to see her doing this to me. I have heard that my husband cheats but none has ever broken me like this one. Of all people, the woman who knows me, prays very well and preaches frequently. My husband doesn’t give me attention anymore. I don’t know what to do. This is worse for me. I need help.
