“My girlfriend, who is now my wife, gave me broken heart during the release of my first album” -Sarkodie

Sarkodie, a Ghanaian artist, has said that his debut record, which he collaborated on with Sugartone, was never released because he suffered heartbreak from Tracy Sarkcess.

Sarkodie claimed during an interview on One play that he had to put all the songs he was working on hold owing to his inability to focus on them and deliver outstanding quality.

When he sat down to listen to the song, he realized he had insulted and said derogatory things about women since he penned them during his sadness.

I recorded an album that was never released. That may have been my first record with Sugartone. One of the songs was broadcast on Adom FM, and that was the end of it; the other tracks were never released.“
